Job Description:

Will determine eligibility and continued participation for HOC Housing opportunity and Tax Credit applicants and families. Duties include interviewing, certifying, and recertifying clients. Will coordinate move-ins and transfers with appropriate staff. Provide customer service to internal and external customers. Will respond to inquiries from applicants and tenants. Experience in the LIHTC or other subsidized program is a plus. Must obtain program certification within six (6) months of hire. WP

Preferred Skills:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Government or related field;
  • Requires a minimum of two years experience working with Tax Credit, the Housing Choice Voucher, or other subsidized housing program.
  • Must have knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, subsidized housing program guidelines and federal, state and local landlord-tenant laws is necessary
  • Experience in the Housing Choice Voucher, Tax Credit or other subsidized program is a plus
  • Must have great verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
