Job Description:

Salary Commensurate with Experience

Interview applicants and current participants in the Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Program to determine continued participation in the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Determine program eligibility, tenant rent, FSS escrow and HUD subsidy for HCV customers participating in the FSS Programs. Process annual recertifications, interim exams, rent increase requests and relocation requests. Prepare Housing Assistance Payment Contracts and conduct group briefings. Assist with special projects as needed. Incumbent must have transportation as this position may work from various Locations. Provide excellent internal and external customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Sociology, Government or related field.
• Strong analytical, communication and customer service skills.
• Must have knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, subsidized housing program regulations and federal, state and local landlord-tenant laws.
• Must obtain Housing Choice Voucher Certification within six months of hire.
• Must have great verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
• Experience in the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Tax Credit or other subsidized housing program is a plus.
