The Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC) announces the results of the RAB election, which was conducted via electronic voting July 17-31, 2023. In total, 545 households cast their votes across all housing programs. HOC used eBallot.com to securely present the lists of candidates and to record all the votes. This online election service generated a unique UserID and password for all eligible HOC households. Upon logging into eBallot.com, each HOC household was presented with the list of candidates from within their respective affordable housing program. From this list of candidates, each HOC household was eligible to cast one vote for a candidate of their choice. Over the course of the next several weeks, HOC will present the list of winning candidates to the HOC Commissioners for formal approval. Afterwards, the new RAB members will attend an orientation and begin to conduct regularly scheduled meetings monthly. More information is forthcoming. |
