Jackie Simon joined the Housing Opportunities Commission (HOC) of Montgomery County Commission on April 2, 2014. Ms. Simon is a realtor and community activist specializing in planning and community development.
Ms. Simon has spent many years working and volunteering in the affordable housing field and led HOC’s public affairs initiatives during the 1970s. She has extensive experience with housing for people with disabilities and has also served for many years as a volunteer for various civil rights based nonprofits, and is familiar with HOC clients and the challenges they face in securing safe, appropriate and accessible housing.
