HOC host sites serve cold and/or hot prepackaged meals Monday through Friday in a communal setting. The purpose of this program is to reduce hunger and food insecurity, promote socialization, and promote health and wellbeing. Reservations are required to participate. Program Description: This class focuses on helping non-native English speakers learn basic conversational English, which will enable them to effectively carry out their day to day responsibilities.   The lessons will help them to develop confidence in spoken communication, develop new vocabulary and skills with conversation, and give participants practice with natural speaking and listening. Participants will be encouraged to engage in conversation of everyday topics, and taught how to keep conversation going, interrupt and end conversation appropriately, as well as to ask questions to gain specific information.

Program Description: Towne Centre Place (Olney) in partnership with First Generation College Bound (FGCB) and Olive Branch Community Church is offering a monthly homework help session for youth in grades 1- 5.  This program begins October 9, 2019 and takes place every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 4:30-6:00 p.m.  This program offers advice, academic encouragement and support; math and reading/literacy skills assistance; homework help; and on-and-off site educational enrichment activities; snacks.  Participants will also be recognized for honor roll.
