HOC Welcomes New Commissioner Edgar G. Rodriguez 

On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, Edgar G. Rodriguez was sworn in as Commissioner of the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County.  

 “Commissioner Rodriguez is a great addition to the Commission and we are excited to have his diverse expertise and knowledge,” said Executive Director Stacy L. Spann.

Commissioner Rodriguez is an attorney with the law firm of Jordan IP Law, LLC.  A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, he holds a masters degree in Telecommunication from Pace University, a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, and a law degree from the University of Connecticut.  Rodriguez has over ten years of experience applying statutes and regulations to complex situations. He has extensive experience advocating for clients and negotiating with federal agency representatives. His knowledge will help guide HOC as we seek to implement new strategies to serve our customers.
