Job Description:

This position is responsible for the overall coordination of a wide variety of services to support the property management, leasing and occupancy, maintenance and public relations needs of a portfolio of approximately 350 Scattered Site units across Montgomery County ranging from moderately priced single family homes to market rate housing.  The position is responsible for maintaining full occupancy of units which includes marketing and unit turnover.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in property management with
  • At least one year of affordable/subsidized housing and direct supervisory experience.
  • Must have knowledge of federal and state regulations for public housing, operations, and implementation of programs.
  • Full understanding of preventative maintenance and procedures for unit inspections.
  • Knowledge of inventory contracts and budget control.
  • Good computer skills in Windows environment and Microsoft Office package.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must have LIHTC Certification required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
